Last years harvest

Planting rows

Just shooting.
There is something really good about home grown garlic that you cant say about the bleached white,Chinese garlic that you buy in the supermarkets. The flavour is far better. I bought a bundle of organic garlic at the Eumundi Market 5 years ago and i've been planting it out from the original bulb every year since. I hope to harvest more each season. I use the stuff nearly everyday with my cooking..

Hand cut Fat Chips with tomato sauce,.good good good...

Falafels with yoghurt, beetroot and quinoa salad
riday funtime is what my kids have at school at the end of the week. Well Friday funtime is what i had today with some friends, when we all met up at Kilcunda General Store in gorgeous South Gippsland. A General Store that has been turned into a cool cafe. It still has the store provisions, but does some good food and coffee. With cool vintage interiors and an amazing view of the ocean, it was a great way to spend a couple of hours  .
Sorry, i still have sideways photos..
