Sunday stuff

We are trying to save money to help with bathroom renovations, so spending a lot of time at home. I love potting around at our place..I also made these biscuits for school lunches..
They are just your everyday variety of cookie, except i bedazzled them with pumpkin seeds, just for that extra bang for your buck. Pumkin seeds are full of essential vitamins and minerals, anti-oxidants and amino acids..
a recipe i found from the old woman's weekly cookbook..

125g butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup caster sugar. Cream together, add 1 egg, then add 2 cups of Self-Raising flour, 1/2 cup coconut, 1/2 cup oatbran. Mix together to form biscuit dough. Roll into balls and press in some pumpkin seeds. 180 degree oven for 10 to 15 mins..

I have also had a go at making some chopping boards. An arborist friend gave me some hard-wood slices, which i sanded back, then rubbed some olive oil into them.. They mightn't be much good, they have some cracks, but i like the look of them..
